[en] Mapfile Reference Document

[en] Mapfiles are the basic configuration mechanism for map generation in Designer, using a file that installs to the Runtime data directory:

[en] C:\Program Files\Alteryx\bin\RuntimeData\MapServer\default.map

[en] The different base layer maps offered through Alteryx Spatial packages all have their own authored mapfiles. These can be located in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Alteryx\DataProducts\AlteryxMap directory under the respective base layer map name folder. The mapfile is named for the layer set with a *.map file extension (in other words, UsgsNorthAmerica.map).
