Share Connections
If enabled in Workspace Settings > Sharing settings, Alteryx Analytics Cloud lets you share Connections to external platforms with other users. To share a Connection, you must be the owner or editor of the Connection and have a sufficient role in the workspace that allows you to share Connections.
Sign in to your AAC workspace. Refer to the Logging in to your Alteryx Analytics Cloud Workspace section for help.
Go to the Connections page and search for the Connection you want to share.
Select the vertical 3-dot menu to the right of the Connection and select Share.
When sharing a connection, if enabled in the Workspace Settings > Connectivity, you can select whether to share credentials with the connection:
Share credentials: Share credentials specified in the connection.
Do not share credentials: Each user must specify their credentials.
Note
The credential-sharing setting applies to all users. Connections that use OAuth 2.0 cannot be shared with credentials, each user must authenticate individually.

Search for and select the user you want to share the connection with in the Add members dropdown.
Set the permission the user should have to the connection:
Viewer: The User can access the connection and run jobs that use the connection.
Editor: All viewer privileges, plus the user can edit and share the connection with others.
Select Share. The user will appear in the list of users the connection has been shared with.
Important
Once your connection is made public, it cannot be changed back to invite-only.
In the Share Connection dialog box, select the Privacy option and select Public.
In the Public Access dialog box that displays, select Make Public.
