Overview
The Professional Edition is great for teams and organizations that perform analytics and reporting. Connect to any data source and perform end-to-end data preparation, analysis, and reporting across your organization.
The Professional Edition provides access to the Alteryx Analytics Cloud (AAC) workspace and many additional products and capabilities. It is available as either a Cloud deployment or a Hybrid deployment (a combination of Cloud and Desktop products).
Professional Edition accounts get access to these products (depending on a Cloud or Hybrid deployment):

User Roles
The Professional Edition supports 2 user roles:
Full User: Go to Full User Capabilities for details.
Basic User: Go to Basic User Capabilities for details.
The user role assigned determines a user’s access.
Admin Roles
The Account Admin can access the Account Admin Console to perform various tasks. For example, they can manage account access, track usage, inspect audit events, and track ROI with access to account usage and billing details. They do not require an entitlement.
The Workspace Admin can access the Workspace Admin Console to perform administrative tasks, manage access, configure the workspace, and adjust security settings. They do not require an entitlement.
Workspace Admin Privileges
A privilege is an access level for a type of object. A role may have one or more privileges assigned to it.
These are the privileges assigned to the Workspace Admin role in Professional Edition:
