Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics Connections
You can create connections to Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics from Alteryx Analytics Cloud (AAC).
If you are connecting AAC to any relational source of data, you must add the Alteryx Service to your allowlist for those resources, see Allowlist Platform Service.

Configuration
To create the Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics connection:
As an AACP workspace user, navigate to Connections.
Select Create Connection and choose Azure Synapse Analytics from the list of connections.
Set a descriptive connection name.
Enter your Azure Synapse Analytics hostname.
Specify the port.
Specify the database which you would like to connect to in Azure Synapse.
Select authentication method (basic or OAuth 2.0).
Save the connection and use it in your workflow.
Limitations
Wrangle jobs don’t work with Databricks engine in cloud-native mode.
When accessing Azure Synapse with OAuth 2.0, use only https://sql.azuresynapse-dogfood.net/user_impersonation scope.
Native unload is only supported in ADLS workspaces.
Make sure that you are having Contributor access to DB as well as to SQL pool.
